Renew the campus entrance gates

The entrance gate is the face of our “Inclusive Practices” campus in Ureki. Unfortunately, years of use, strong winds, and the humid coastal climate have completely destroyed the old structure. As you can see in the photos, the metal has rusted severely, the gate panels have warped and sagged, and they are extremely difficult to close.

We want to completely restore the entrance gate and install an automatic system. This is necessary not only for the security of the premises but also for convenience: children arrive at the campus every day, and an automatic gate will make the space truly accessible and barrier-free.

The goal: $950

This amount is clearly divided into two technical phases: $550 for the complete restoration of the gates themselves and $400 for the purchase and installation of the automatic system.

We’ve calculated the minimum budget required to transform the old, warped gate panels into a modern gate based on the design:

$550 – restoration and reinforcement of the gate. This includes dismantling the old structures, aligning the gate leaves, replacing rotted metal components, deep rust removal, priming with special anti-corrosion compounds, and a full coat of durable protective paint

$400 – gate automation. Purchase of a reliable set of linear actuators (electric motors), a control unit, safety systems (photocells), cable routing, installation of equipment on support posts, and final debugging of the automatic opening system via remote control

Your contribution is a step toward creating a safe, beautiful, and technologically advanced space for all campus visitors and program participants. Help us replace the rusty metal with a modern, barrier-free entrance. Support the fundraiser now!
