Bring back safe play for children
On the Black Sea coast in Ureki, Georgia, there is a small playground where local children gather every day to play, socialize, and grow up together. Over the years, storms and the harsh coastal climate have severely damaged the site. We are raising funds to restore the playground so that it can once again be a safe, inviting, and lively place for the children of this neighborhood.
The goal: $1,000 — to purchase all the necessary materials for a major renovation of the entire playground.
We plan to carry out all the work with the help of our volunteers so that every penny goes exclusively toward the improvement project.

We have calculated every detail needed for the renovation. Your donations will be used to purchase specific building materials and tools:
$600 — purchase of lumber and sawn timber (lumber of various sizes for restoring frames, supports, and fences)
$280 — protective coatings and finishing (paint in various colors, varnish, and a special wood preservative to protect the wood from saltwater and the sun)
$120 — supplies and tools (brushes, rollers, sturdy screws, sandpaper for smoothing surfaces)
Additional condition: A $500 reserve fund for professional services
We believe in the strength of our community and plan to restore the playground with the help of volunteers. However, the structural repairs must be completely safe for children. If we are unable to recruit enough volunteers or if skilled professionals are needed for complex stages of the work, we will need an additional $500 to pay for their services.
Your support will help give the children of Ureki back their favorite, safe place to play. Every contribution brings the playground one step closer to opening. Show your support right now!
